Hello Regen Network Community!

Summer certainly has flown by. Our global team has spent much time convening at our home base office in Massachusetts, which means productivity has been high.

Our Product Team is building our distributed data layer and has created the first version of a land steward app! This app will allow farmers in our network to share field data, in turn helping our team polish algorithms for Ecological State Protocols. Our Science Team is diversifying our collection of pilot project sites by spreading into Asia, and adding a second protocol development project aimed at the verification of afforestation in the Amazon basin.

We are building partnerships with incredible environmental and blockchain leaders, and see great potential with each one of them. Not only are we finding support from our partners, but we have found deep support from our community — your votes earned us the opportunity to pitch our venture at GreenBiz's VERGE 18 Conference in October, which you can read more about below! But we'll be in the Bay Area sooner than that. Our team will be in San Francisco all next week for the Global Climate Action Summit. If you'll be in the area, let us know with a reply to this email — we would love to say hello.

Onward!

Yours,

Regen Network Team

“As soon as the STREAMR team discovered Regen Network, we were immediately excited about their vision for regenerating the environment and helping to combat climate change using some clever science, measurement and verification techniques, and blockchain technology. We've been impressed by the progress the team and their community have made, and look forward to continue to work with Regen Network to develop practical use cases."

Partner Profile: Streamr

The Regen Network and Streamr teams connected in July 2017, back in the early days of our project. Since then, we have shared an interest in exploring how their real-time data marketplace may play a role in the data and ecosystems marketplace that Regen Network is building. We look forward to integrating and aligning with one another as we both grow.
