I hope you and yours are having a wonderful holiday season, and I also hope you'll allow me to top it off with the gift of...new music!
However I'll need your help.
I can only give you the first 60 seconds of this new and incredibly special song sung by the character of Thomson (and you can find that preview right here!). The rest must be shared by a Plague Rat...maybe even you! Here's how it's going to work:
On New Years Eve, Dec. 31st, 2021, at 6 A.M. EST, I will open the auction via a new IG post here: Instagram | @emilieautumnofficial. All bidding will take place in the comments section of that upcoming post, and there is no minimum bid amount, so, technically speaking, this song could go for $10!
1. The Winner of this unprecedented auction will be sent the full-length CD-resolution file of my new song, "Portraits", by online link on New Years Day, Jan. 1st, 2022. The Winner will be the first person in the world to hear the most famous quote from the Asylum book as it will be sung in the musical, "You are a terribly real thing in a terribly false world, and that, I believe, is why you are in such pain." (Yes, it is "so much" in the book, and "such" in the musical because it just sounded better.)
2. The Winner will have EXCLUSIVE ACCESS to this track for 2 WEEKS (until Jan. 15th), and the rights to release and share it on their own online platform during that time (social media accounts, YouTube channel, personal website, or similar). The Winner is free to draw traffic to their online space to share the song with the public via streaming, if they wish (not through sales or downloading, obviously;). I suppose the Winner could even hold a live event and blast the song for people—go wild! Or, the Winner may keep the song private and enjoy it themselves before anyone else gets to hear it. After the 15th, the track will finally be released to the public across all platforms i.e. Spotify, etc.
3. The Winner will also be sent the signed, hand-written lyrics to the song by post.
