【Principal】

Virtual English tutoring for Jiaxian Elementary School

ECS attends the Virtual English tutoring program for Jiaxian Elementary School. JIaxian Elementary School is a rural indigenous school in Kaohsiung. The ECS students participate as the English volunteer teacher. The ECS Students can get service points upon accomplishing the program. Please fill out the form .

 

【Registration】

Registration for New Students

Please refer to ECS website for fee schedule and registration guideline .

●     Tuition $510 per student (3rd and subsequent children receive a 25% discount on tuition)

●     The registration is closed on 9/17. Please register and make payment upon 9/17.

 

【Activities】

ECS End of Summer/Back to School BBQ Picnic UPDATED

●     Date: Saturday, 8/19/2023

●     Time: 11am - 4pm

●     Location: Burke Lake Park, Picnic Shelter C

●     Burke Lake Park list of activities (with fees) : Boat rentals, train, carousel, mini golf and more!

●     $8/per person, which includes all food, drinks, snacks and games/toys for kids; no charge for teachers

●     Showcase by ECS YO-YO team

●     Come to meet your teachers for School Year 2023-2024 & all your volunteer board members & staff!

●     RSVP Here  by Noon on Friday 8/18 so we can prepare the food!

●     Itinerary ：

12PM-4PM – Food Ready / Meet & Greet

1PM – Doughnut Eating Contest

2PM – Pinata smash & Candy!

4PM – Clean up

 

【ECS Star Team】

ECS Star Speech Team - 2023 OCAC Global Mandarin Speaking Competition IMPORTANT

The Overseas Community Affairs Council of the Republic of China (OCAC of Taiwan) is hosting the Contest on the following dates. All first-graders and above from Zhuyin classes are encouraged to participate. Please refer to the details in the contest announcement . To join the ECS Stars Speech Contest Team, please fill out the Registration Form .

●     First 1st Run Dates have passed;

●     Second 1st Run: 9/1/2023 - 9/30/2023

●     Final Run: 11/1/2023 - 11/30/2023 (Must’ve participated in one of the First Runs to be qualified)

 

ECS Star Team for Vocabulary Contest IMPORTANT

WMACS will host the Vocabulary Contest in October 2023. ECS Star Team is recruiting students with superior and excellent ratings to participate in the contest. Please refer to the Registration Form for more details.

●     Training Time: 8pm on Sundays since summer break.

Several Safety Patrols are needed for the Fall semester. Safety Patrol will earn 1 service point each time. Please go online to register if you are interested in.
