They have also been designed to host different fiber management systems, and in this way they accept:
- Slide & lock splice trays (also known as book type);
- SAFEtNET® Fiber Management system for single circuit/single element applications (only FIBREGUARD™ 800 splice closures)
- Stackable COYOTE® splice trays applications
(only FIBREGUARD™ 650 and FIBREGUARD™ 800 splice closures)
Slide & lock splice trays The SLIDE & LOCK® Splice trays offer a simple and craft-friendly design, which allows entrance into any tray independently of its position inside the closure, as you do not have to move the trays that are immediately above. For this purpose, every tray has flip tray devices, which enable to pull up the above trays holding them in position. Simply push the tray back and pull them up until they remain in place. Then you can reach the tray you want with no risk of fibers. Additionally, the block of trays may be turned either on the right or on the left, so you can work in the fibers, not being disturbed by the holding stud. Every tray can host up to 12 or 24 fusion splices, and even upo to 72 splices with several entries, which will allow you to make different operations like splicing, expressing fibers, segregating and storing dark fibers.
