A NEW BOOK is in the works!

This month I have officially begun researching and gathering information for my next book about the challenges of returning to one's home culture after living overseas. 

Interviews are underway! As I gather information, I will write parts of the book as we prepare for our return to America. 

The final writing and finishing touches will be done as our family makes the transition ourselves.

My hope is that the process of writing this book will help us through our own transition as much as it will help others later.

I invite you to pray with me through this process.

Last month I was in Nampa for training in the new Waypoints program. Waypoints is a mentoring program developed to help missionaries avoid pitfalls that have taken other missionaries off the field prematurely. 

Starting this month, as part of MAF's Waypoints program, Bryan and I will begin mentoring pre-field missionaries to help prepare them for their journey in missions. We will walk alongside those who are considering a career in mission aviation and lead them in their spiritual relationship with Christ as they continue developing their technical skills.

My time in Nampa was very rich! In addition to the wonderful training, I was also able to connect with a dear friend who left the field two years ago expecting to return to Lesotho, but God changed her plans.
