Kai Jia (Mark) Liu (BA '24), was featured in the May 15, 2025 @Rochester for receiving the Yenching Academy of Peking University Scholar award for 2025.
Rochelle Goldberg Ruthchild (PhD '76), is an executive producer of the film LEFT ON PEARL, documenting the surprise ending of the 1971 International Women's Day march in Boston. This march which led to the creation of the Cambridge Women's Center, the longest continuously operating community women's center in the US. The film is now available free on YouTube. Ruthchild participated in the actions described in the film.
Ronald Satta (PhD '05), has been promoted to the rank of Associate Professor of History in the College of Arts and Sciences at Liberty University. Additionally, Satta was named the subject matter expert (SME) of the graduate course on American colonial history.
Susan O. Shapiro's (BA '74), second-year Latin review text, Latin Redux, published in 2024 by the University of Oklahoma Press, won the 2025 Ladislaus J. Bolchazy Pedagogy Book Award from the Classical Association of the Middle West and South.
