Paul's Raro Hot Sauce business came about in that incredible year of 2020, when we started planting our family land after the sudden downturn in Cook Islands tourism due to the Corona virus. Then our beautiful new Habanero chilli plants just took off, producing spectacular tasty and hot chillis. These Habanero Chillis became the basis of our new Hot Sauce range, along with 3 other types of local chilis, the Bird’s Eye Chilli, the Jamaican Scotch Bonnet Chili and the super firey Ghost Chili.
Our range has now expanded to 6 different delicious flavours, with fresh local fruits like Mango, Pineapple, Jackfruit, Dragonfruit, Coco-Nana and our latest flavour, Raro Fire. Each flavour Hot Sauce is fantastic, with a depth of fruity flavour and perfect as a spicy accompaniment and enhancement with all types of food. Our Hot Sauces are made in small batches and bottle immediately for maximum freshness and safety. Our Hot Sauces are based on our own “Jamaican inspired” recipe that we have been using for years.
