HAMPTON COURT PALACE ICE RINK RETURNS THIS NOVEMBER
A flurry of frozen fun is coming to the grounds of Henry VIII’s former residence this November, with the return of the Hampton Court Palace Ice Rink.
November 2021 to 9th January 2022, Hampton Court Palace Ice Rink will see visitors gliding across the ice, under the stars in a beautiful, open-air ice rink, offering spectacular views of the historic Tudor palace, which will this year host a new after-hours light trail, Palace of Stardust.
Helen Noble Crowned Industry Winner in The Celebrant Industry Awards The very first Celebrant Industry Awards was held virtually as it live streamed on Facebook with over 56 Celebrants attending via Zoom to see who would be revealed as industry winners across weddings, funerals, naming and vow renewal professions. Surrey disability charity celebrates £1million milestone Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People (QEF), based in Leatherhead, is celebrating reaching a significant £1 million milestone as part of its three-year fundraising appeal to complete and fully fund their state-of-the-art Care and Rehabilitation Centre. QEF’s Edward Guinness Appeal was established to raise the final £2.7 million needed to complete and fully fund this centre of neuro rehabilitation expertise; supporting people to rebuild their lives after a stroke, acquired brain injury, incomplete spinal injury or neurological illness. Over the last 22 months the charity has had support from individuals and the local community who responded to the appeal and took part in a variety of fundraising activities. Choir holds ‘Comeback’ concert at Dorking Halls Guildford’s Vivace Chorus has chosen Dorking Halls for its first live ‘comeback’ concert since Covid struck in March 2020. The choir, which is partnering with the Epsom Chamber Choir and the West Forest Sinfonia, will be performing Elgar’s hugely popular The Dream of Gerontius on November 20th and is planning on putting on an unforgettable show.
