Margaret Watson - Harpist Tuesday 9th November Onslow Village Residents’ Association present an evening with harpist Margaret Watson in the Village Hall, Wilderness Road, Onslow Village, Guildford GU2 7QR. This promises to be a light-hearted, informal and very varied programme interspersed with stories and information about the harp. Margaret’s repertoire covers jazz, Glenn Miller, music from the shows as well as Christmas themed music, proving that it’s not just “Green Sleeves”. They will be serving complimentary wine and mince pies as well as tea and coffee, served from 7.15pm Entry fee is free to OVRA members. £5 to non-members.

Choir holds ‘Comeback’ concert at Dorking Halls Guildford’s Vivace Chorus has chosen Dorking Halls for its first live ‘comeback’ concert since Covid struck in March 2020. The choir, which is partnering with the Epsom Chamber Choir and the West Forest Sinfonia, will be performing Elgar’s hugely popular The Dream of Gerontius on November 20th and is planning on putting on an unforgettable show.
