What would a novel inspired by Duke Nukem be like?

It would have to be fun, gory, foul-mouthed.

Strapped with machismo and absolutely ridiculous.

Max Rage: Intergalactic Badass! is that book.

It's an homage to Duke Nukem as well as the macho action movies and tough guy flicks of the 1980s: Terminator, Rambo, First Blood, Cobra.

The newest release from Bram Stoker Award nominated-novelist Jake Bible, Max Rage is over-the-top escapism at its... well, I want to say "finest" but I'm not sure that's the right word.

But it is fun, funny, DEFINITELY offensive, and more than a little tongue-in-cheek.
