2018 Supporters Summit – Book Now!

BOOK NOW to reserve your place at the 2018 Supporters Summit! Tickets cost £10, but are free for those who have signed up as individual members of SD Scotland.

This year's event will be held at Fir Park, home of fan owned Motherwell FC, on Saturday the 8th of September, from 10am until 4pm.

Apologies to those of you whose team is playing in the Irn-Bru cup that afternoon, but you are very welcome to come along for the first few hours if you would like to join us for part of the day. The morning session will focus on supporter ownership, hearing from the Well Society about their first experiences as a fan-owned club, and comparing their journey to supporter ownership with the steps being taken at Hearts and St Mirren. The afternoon session will include a range of workshop sessions on issues beyond supporter ownership, and there will of course be lots of opportunities to meet and talk to people from around the country and beyond.

If you’re an individual member of Supporters Direct Scotland, simply get in touch with us for your free ticket to the Summit (info@supporters-direct.scot).

Become a Member!

Since incorporating in Scotland at the end of last year we have been reviewing our membership structure. Renewals are underway for our existing member Trusts, at the new cost of £50 per year (previously £100), and we welcome new applications from democratic supporters groups (full criteria for membership are available on request).

And for the first time, we are opening up our membership to individuals as well as supporter groups. If you would like to join as an Individual Member you can do so on a pay-as-you like basis via the Scottish Supporters Network Patreon page.

Group and individual members can attend our annual Supporters Summit free of charge, will receive news of all SDS work and publications, and can stand for election to the SDS board.

We are committed to keeping all of our work accessible to everyone, whether members or not. To keep up-to-date you can become an Affiliate Member by joining the Scottish Supporters Network free of charge.

2018 Supporters' Survey Launches on Monday

Officially recognised as the lead supporters’ group in Scotland by the Scottish Professional Football League and the Scottish Football Association, SD Scotland has established a formal means to engage with the game’s key decision makers and represent fans’ views.

Last year's survey (the fifth year in which we ran the national survey) received almost 14,000 responses, and helped to drive change, focussing our attention on the three big themes of "Value For Money", "Fan Engagement" and "The Supporter Experience". These priorities are shared by supporters, clubs, and the Scottish FA and SPFL, and we have already seen progress in each of these areas. Our survey questions this year will be set for a three-year period, and will help us to identify potential improvements to Scottish football.
