Winter gives way to summer in the northern hemisphere and the global electronic warfare community is looking forward to a busy few months of events.
The Association of Old Crows’ EW Europe annual conference and exhibition will take place in Montpellier, southwest France. Held between 10th and 12th May, Armada will be covering the event. Do please come and meet us at the show, we’d be delighted to see you.
In this month’s newsletter we put MASS’ Electronic Warfare Mission Support Tool (EWMST) through its paces. Using the EWMST our Don’t Believe the Hype article shows the potential underperformance of Russian EW systems in Ukraine. The results are good for the Ukrainian armed forces but not for the Russian Army.
Elsewhere we look at the Dutch Army’s planned procurement of new EW vehicles in our Fuchs Bows Out article.
Meanwhile, The Great Switch Off is our latest Armada International Electronic Warfare Podcast. It examines the Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) threat and emerging EMP mitigation technologies.
Last but not least, catch up on all the latest EW product, programme and operational news in our monthly Spectrum SitRep.
Until next month, take care and stay safe!
