This newsletter includes: The Upcoming release of the MoonMath Manual to zk-SNARKs, the launch of our Internship Program, our sponsorship of zkSummit, our audit of Umee’s Peggo Orchestrator, jobs and more
In mid-September we will be releasing v1 of the eagerly awaited MoonMath Manual to zk-SNARKs. zk-SNARKs offer a new paradigm for privacy and can deliver on the original promise of blockchain: decentralization, scale and security.
Designed for an audience with only minimal experience in cryptography and programming, the manual begins with a theoretical foundation and builds up to a point where the reader is able to implement complex, real-world zk-building blocks.
Last month, our Cryptographer Anna Kaplan presented an early version of the MMM at ZCon3 which can be viewed here.
As part of our continuing support for zero-knowledge communities, we are proud to attend and be community sponsors of zkSummit 8, which will take place in Berlin on September 15.
Will you be there? If you would like to schedule a time to meet, get in touch.
We will soon be launching Least Authority’s Internship Program. The program is open to students, junior professionals and mid-ranking professionals seeking a career change and who share our mission and values. We are currently accepting general applications and will post specific opportunities on our website in the future.
Least Authority performed a security audit of Umee’s Peggo Orchestrator, a Go implementation of the original Gravity Bridge Orchestrator implemented by Althea. Peggo is an off-chain relayer that facilitates the transfer of ERC-20 and Cosmos SDK based tokens between the Ethereum and Umee blockchains.
If you’re passionate about privacy and internet security and are motivated to work in a remote-first environment, we encourage you to apply or to reach out to a member of our team to learn more about the exciting vacancies we currently have:
