The week we came home, we got sick.
Actually, our younger son Andrej became sick just before the flight and I felt so bad as his stuffed sinuses plus the air pressure changes, made traveling so difficult for him.
But he was a trooper.
Especially considering we had to run hard to catch our overseas flight in San Francisco.
Then, after we arrived home, my older son and I came down with the same virus.
But, by the next weekend we were feeling much better.
Saturday evening, January 27, we piled in our car and drove to our church for a night of worship and prayer.
As we walked into the fellowship area, I was introduced to a new young man.
We were having a conversation, and it turns out that he lives less than 10 minutes from our house.
While we were in the States, after seeking for "something" and trying many different ways to God, out of desperation he searched on Facebook for an evangelical church.
Interestingly enough (and not at all coincidentally), he found our church.
To give you an idea, our church is about 30 miles away from our house - so it's not like Facebook showed him the closest church.
But God was in it!
He left his apartment at 7:00am that Sunday morning and took the train into Zagreb and then walked 20 minutes to where our church is located.
And gave his heart to Christ that morning!
He is the first convert in our area!
I can't wait for home groups scheduled for the end of this month! We will finally have our first, successful home group!
God is working and moving.
