Is It Time For Spring Cleaning Already?!?

Happy May! It's been a very rainy introduction to spring but that makes me look forward to the flowers even more! May is an action packed month for me. I move into my new North Austin office, I'm traveling to Nebraska with the wonderful Dr. Karen Rayne to do a training for our book, AND I get to visit my brother, and sister-in-law in Wisconsin to meet my new nibbling for the first time!

Nibbling = a gender neutral way of saying nephew and niece meaning child of my sibling.

I'm sure that I will get to spring cleaning eventually.....maybe in the fall....that sounds good.

What does May have in store for you?

Brainstorm: The Power and Purpose of the Teenage Brain

Between the ages of 12 and 24, the brain changes in important and often maddening ways. It's no wonder that many parents approach their child's adolescence with fear and trepidation. According to renowned neuropsychiatrist Daniel Siegel, however, if parents and teens can work together to form a deeper understanding of the brain science behind all the tumult, they will be able to turn conflict into connection and form a deeper understanding of one another. In *Brainstorm*, Siegel illuminates how brain development affects teenagers' behaviour and relationships.
