So this is the exclusive bit - just for you as a newsletter reader.
I've told you a little bit about some of the main characters in Choices and Consequences before - particularly Prospero and Leonie. Andrew is also a key character - so key that he's getting his own point of view in a spin off/extended epilogue that I have planned.
He's the same age as Prospero and they've been close friends since their teens, when they both came to House St Peter. They both studied medicine and trained as doctors, and they both became monks at the same time - although Andrew made the decision to do this first. He was orphaned as a child, losing his parents and younger siblings to an epidemic, and then lived with his grandfather until coming to House St Peter. As his grandfather worked with horses, Andrew is a competent horseman, and his chores at House St Peter include working in the stables. He's also really good with languages, which have fascinated him since he was small, so he also does a little translating from time to time.
I don't tend to describe my characters' looks much, so that you can see them how you'd like to. But for me, Andrew is blond and fair skinned, with blue eyes, and just under 6ft tall. He's pretty quiet, and those who don't know him well think he follows Prospero's lead in most things. In fact, it's more likely to be that Prospero does something impulsive, and Andrew helps him sort out the consequent mess! Andrew is the strong, silent type and he's not going to do anything he doesn't believe to be right.
Does this match up to how you visualise Andrew? Hit reply and let me know how you see your favourite characters in my books, I'd love to hear from you.
