This week’s design lesson
This is a new lesson, not one from the Tiny Design Lessons ebook.
Improve big headings by reducing letter spacing
With some fonts, big headings can make the spacing between characters feel too large or uncomfortable. Paying closer attention to the letter spacing can give better legibility and visual balance.
You will only need to reduce by a very small amount – too much and it will have the opposite effect.
Exactly how much to reduce the spacing by depends on the font and the size, so just experiment to get it it looking right.
Creative Market is a huge marketplace of creative resources (hence the name!). From fonts to templates, logos, icons, graphics, and more. (It’s also where I got the lion illustrations for microbrave.com).
