January 2021 Newsletter

I'm thrilled to announce...

I've signed a contract with Redemption Press to publish The Demons Among Us, a Christian novel for young adults. This supernatural work of fiction weaves a contemporary tale of how a brother and sister must overcome their internal demons in order to fight the real demons that have invaded their high school.

If all goes according to schedule, The Demons Among Us will be available through Amazon and your favorite bookstores in September 2021. I would truly appreciate your prayers during the next nine months of editing, design, and marketing. Please know how much your encouragement over the past few years has meant to me. There's a correct way to style THE virus

I've seen so many different spellings of the virus that has so challenged our lives this year, I finally checked with The Chicago Manual of Style for the proper protocol. According to the experts, the official name of the virus is severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (all lowercase), or SARS-CoV-2. The name of the disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 is COVID-19 (all caps), which stands for coronavirus disease 2019. The 'CO' stands for 'corona,' 'VI' for 'virus,' and 'D' for disease. If you abbreviate the virus name to coronavirus, lowercase it.
