Book Sales are Back

Join the Friends of the Mount Prospect Public Library for a Summer Garage Sale - our first book sale in over a year!

Shop great deals inside and out. Fill a Friends bag for $5 with books, music, movies, and more. All Friends Room material is 50% off normal sale prices. The Summer Sale is two days only and open to the public.

Buy a reusable Friends bag at the sale for $1 or bring your own from home if you already purchased one.

* Anything that does not fit entirely in a Friends bag will be priced separately. There is no limit on the number of Friends bags you can purchase for $1 or fill for $5. No other bags, baskets, or containers are eligible for this promotion.

Why did I receive this newsletter? +

You either signed up online to receive this newsletter or, a while back, you or someone in your household shared this address with the Friends when signing up to be a Friends Member or volunteer.

Will I still receive a mailed newsletter? +

No. Mailed newsletters cost the Friends thousands of dollars a year in printing and postage costs. And our local print shop has gone out of business. Digital newsletters allow us to reach more people, more often, at minimal cost. This leaves more funds available to support library events and initiatives!

When will you accept donations again? +

We anticipate being able to accept donations after the Summer Book Sale. Once we've cleaned and organized the Friends Room we'll let you know we're accepting donations once again.
