If you designated something specific and personally meaningful to symbolize love, what would it be?
Love is, as poetry claims, deeper than the ocean and wider than the sky. Art attempts to reveal love's strength and can move us to better know our own self in it. Love songs give us wings to soar to great heights, and also grants permission to bury ourselves in the depths of its anguish.
Love is complex in its simplicity, messy yet exhilarating, passionate, risky, peaceful, filled with hope and promise yet schooled in disappointment, and still incomprehensibly joyful--all wrapped up in a beautiful package with a gigantic bow. But we can only understand the gift of love when we open it wide, examine it with care, use it daily and share it freely. Ironically, words can diminish love’s efficacy. Perhaps that is why communicating heart-to-heart is such a powerful phenomenon.
Wherever you find yourself in this particular moment on the infinite love spectrum, love is unquestionably always there for you because it is the greatest and most remarkable part of you.
Love. Every day. Now. Forever.
Just love.
