Our 2023 grant round is now closed and our Grants Committee comprising of a selection of 100 Women Members are busy working through the incredible list of applications we have received from all over Australia. We wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of the organisations that applied.
In May, we will invite a select group of 2023 applicants to provide a more detailed application before a second grant workshop in July will decipher the final projects for members to vote upon.
MEMBER QUESTION:
Q: Where does my donation go with these grants?
A: Directly to service the women and girls (beneficiaries) identified in the projects that our members vote for.
Before: 100% of your donation is pooled together with all our member and general donations over the course of one year. Funding is then divided up between a small number of grant applicants that have been voted upon by our membership.
During: Grant recipients must spend this funding according to the project budget that they have supplied to 100 Women and it must be completed within the agreed timeframe. Funding could be used for things like health products, materials, project officer salary, counselling, development of resources (online or physical), infrastructure and research.
After: We receive a full acquittal report and receipts from the organisation and we share the impact and outcomes with our members.
