Mark your calendars! The Friends of the Mount Prospect Public Library Autumn Book Sale is Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 22.

Shop for great deals on books, movies, music, games, and more. Browse the "Better Books Room" for our best quality items, the Friends Room for $1 hardcovers and 50¢ paperbacks, and then head outside, where everything in the parking garage is only 25¢.

You'll find not only recent hardback fiction, Blu-Ray movies, and console video games, but also loads of vintage books, DVDs, CDs, and board games. We'll also have an amazing selection of children's items in all three sale areas that you won't want to miss. There are treasures to be found from all eras and for all ages.

Do you want to support the library, meet new people, and have fun doing it? Then, sign up to volunteer at the next Friends book sale!

We are looking for people to help set up the book sale late afternoon on Thursday, October 19, cashier and assist customers Saturday and Sunday, October 21 & 22, and help take down the sale on Sunday, October 22.
