Mountain Harmony Studio

Balance For Your Journey

Namaste ,

This is the newsletter I've been waiting for!

I am so excited to announce that after 7 months of being closed to yoga classes we will be opening this month to in-person classes!

This has been a challenging year, and yoga is needed now more than ever. So for the next few months we will be offering a hybrid of classes, both in and out of the studio.

This month we have two classes offered on zoom, and 2 classes offered in studio and we couldn't be more thrilled.  Of course there will be some changes in the studio, to keep our community safe. We love our sangha and will be complying with Public Health protocols for our studio.

COVID changes in the studio:

1. All students will be required to wear a mask while in the studio. Don't worry. You CAN practice yoga in a mask.

2. As per Public Health recommendations, all student's temperatures will be take in sutdio. Don't worry. It wont hurt. :)

3. You will need to bring your own mat and props.

4. Bring your own water bottle too! If you forget, we will have bottled water for sale in the studio.

That's it. We will only allow 5 students per class, to follow proper social distancing guidelines. Your safety is important to us, and always has been. We can't wait to practice with you again.

And don't forget that the Restorative Yoga Certification is October 10-11! We're so excited to get back into the studio for this continuing education. Last day to sign up is October 1.

If you are unable to attend the continuing education, but would still like to buy a Restorative Yoga Kit, please let me know by October 1st, and we'll get you one too. :)

Kits are $115 and include:

3 Blankets

1 Bolster

2 blocks

1 Eye pillow

1 Strap

These will also be awesome for your home use for Emily's Restorative class this month too!

That's all for now!  I'm so excited to step back into the studio with you this month!

Lunarly 4-week Series

Everyday we all play a variety of roles, often performing several at once or stepping from one to another depending on what is required in the moment. Like the lunar phases, no matter what face we put forward or how much of us is on display, we are always whole.

October is a special month, beginning and ending with a full moon.

Join yoga teacher Sarah Rhett in this four week series exploring our continual turning through cycles of growth, taking charge, generosity and rest. We will flow through the grounding chandra namaskar (moon salutation) vinyasa,  moving into postures and practices to explore and support these phases.

Some prior yoga experience recommended, but not required. All levels welcomed.

Step Back into the Studio this October with our first in-person series since spring!

We can't wait to return to our beloved studio, and look forward to seeing you there.
