Season's Greetings!

During this Covid-19 Pandemic, I've realized once again, how much writing is not only my profession, but my passion. It has been the one thing that has buoyed me during these challenging days of 2020. (Thankfully, we were able to adhere to a few holiday traditions—like going out and cutting down our Christmas tree. I think Michael was auditioning for the role of The Scandinavian Santa!)

Since the release of my book The Night of the North in September, I've been busy with a number of writer-related activities. Here are a few of my highlights since the last newsletter:

Last week, the winners of the Rafflecopter Giveaway I hosted in conjunction with my book's release, were announced. Click here to view the list of winners. Many thanks to all who participated!

Due to pandemic safety guidelines, I held only one in-person book signing. Many thanks to Art on the Boulevard in Vancouver, WA for hosting our event! Click here to learn about the precautions we took, and other creative ways I've been promoting our book.

In late September, I had the chance to take a walk in a local nature reserve. Click here to learn about the importance of trees to my creativity.

Last month, I once again participated in the National Novel Writing Month. Click here to read my final blog post regarding NaNoWriMo!

2020 has truly been an unprecedented year of challenges and sacrifices for all of us. However, during this holiday season I hope you can find strength and inspiration from your faith, and from being with your family & friends—even if it's via a ZOOM chat!

Wishing you the peace, joy, and love of the season. Happy New Year!
