• Grundy's population grew by nearly 7.6% from 2010-2022, 3rd of 102 counties
• Grundy's population is projected to grow by 7.3% between 2022 and 2027
• High median household income of $83,254, 7th of 102 Illinois counties
• From 2017 to 2022, jobs in Grundy increased by 9.4%, outpacing the national growth rate by 6%.

Project Supernova - An EV industry manufacturer is seeking sites with heavy power capabilities. Sites in Grundy were submitted to Intersect Illinois.

Data Center Prospect - A data center prospect is seeking acreage with heavy power capabilities, and is considering various sites in a Grundy County community.

Green Energy Industry Manufacturer - A manufacturer in the green energy production industry is seeking a site with significant power and water capacities. Multiple sites in Grundy are under consideration, and a site visit was conducted in early August.

The 2023 ComEd Powering the Holidays Program application is now open! This program awards grants of up to $2,500 throughout ComEd’s service territory for community-based holiday lights events. The program focuses on municipalities, townships, counties, and other local governments, as well as nonprofit organizations and cultural institutions that partner with at least one municipality. Applications are open through September 1, 2023.
