The MDAT-GoG have released a notice stating that they believe the threat of piracy over the next thirty-six hours is assessed to be high in the Northerly area of Zone D, the whole of Zone E and the Easterly section of Zone F. The areas listed span from Cameroon to the Ivory Coast. They have also added that they strongly recommend that the seafaring community and ships transiting this area increase their vigilance and retain enhanced local surveillance and apply BMP WA procedures.
