Do you have children? What about grandchildren? Do you serve in a ministry where there are opportunities to share the gospel? If a friend asked you to explain to him or her how they can be saved, could you do so in language that they could understand? Language that is consistent with the truth? If there is one teaching of the Bible that we have to get absolutely correct it is our understanding of salvation. We think we know the basics, but we sometimes use confusing language which can be misleading. We need to revisit this essential topic and tighten things up a bit, after all people’s (even our own) eternity is what is at stake.
In this three week study Dr. Sam Vinton will cover the four facets of the doctrine of salvation: (1) The provision of salvation; (2) The reception of salvation; (3) The application of salvation; and (4) The outworking of salvation.
Come and join us Sunday evenings October 3, 10, and 17 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Creekside Room as we ground ourselves in this most essential of doctrines.
Some Growth Groups meet throughout the year on Sunday mornings while others are offered as shorter classes throughout the year. Upcoming Growth Group Electives include The Essentials of Salvation and Life on Life Discipleship.
