Hi !

I'm excited to bring you your Romance Book of the Month for May!

If you're new here, once a month, I feature a book from another sweet romance author that you can get free when you join the author's newsletter.

This month, I'd like to introduce you to Sydney Muse and her book FALLING AGAIN!

If her first love doesn't remember her, they might never get their second chance.

Kai Colepepper has spent years trying to forget the boy who broke her heart. But when she returns to his family’s mountain resort and signs up for a long-distance hike, she can’t avoid Aaron forever.

Turns out, there’s only one thing worse than being stuck on the trail with an old flame who doesn’t remember you—being stuck with an old flame and their wife.

Aaron Myers isn’t married—not even a little—and he wasn’t supposed to help his cousin, Naomi, lead a four-day trek into the Colorado mountains. But when a beautiful tourist signed up, he couldn’t resist. Too bad his mystery woman barely speaks to him. Aaron’s not sure what he did wrong, but he doesn’t have much time left to figure it out.

As soon as their hike ends, Kai will be on the first flight home. Whether he remembers her or not…

Falling Again is a sweet romance with plenty of humor and chemistry but no explicit content.

THIS WEEK I AM...

Reading: I've been re-reading The Big Leap by Gay Hendrix this week. I make a point to read it once a year since it's such a great book and has given me many "aha" moments in the past. I've loved the little nuggets of wisdom that I've picked up this time around and hope to be moving closer to "living in my zone of genius" as he puts it and moving past my "upper limits." If you enjoy personal development books, I highly recommend this one.

Watching: The past few weeks have been super crazy at my house so I haven't had much time to watch shows. (I'm also trying to be good and finish The Confession for all of you haha!)
But I did take some time last night to watch a couple episodes of The Mindy Project on Netflix. The episodes are only about 22 minutes long, which is the perfect length when you're busy but still want to sit back and relax for a few minutes. It's been a fun show so far and I'm only a few episodes in, but I totally hope the main character ends up with the guy she described as a "handsome jerk" in the last episode I watched. 😉

Listening: I've been listening to the Rachel Hollis podcast this week. I found her through her non-fiction books (my favorite being Girl, Stop Apologizing) and have been tuned into her stratosphere ever since. I really appreciate hearing a lot of her insights since we have several things in common (ex: we are both writers with 4 kids) as well as learning from the people she interviews. If you're looking for a new podcast to listen to, this may be one for you. 😊

Until next time!

Have you had a chance to fill out my reader survey yet?

I really appreciate all of the responses I've received so far. So many of your comments at the end have made my day, so thank you for being so sweet! My readers really are the best!

If you haven't had a chance to take my survey yet, I'd really appreciate it if you could take a minute or two to fill it out!

Take Judy's Survey!

When my math tutor made me sign a contract promising I wouldn’t fall in love with him, I thought he was joking.

He wasn’t.

Yes, Carter Hastings is the prince of Eden Falls Academy—one of the most beautiful humans on earth—and boy, does he know it.

But I can use this to my advantage.

Since I basically signed a paper saying I’d never catch feelings for him, it makes my plan even more perfect.

So I offer him a deal: a fake relationship.

The arrangement helps Carter get revenge on his ex and helps me hide the fact that I’m not smart enough to be at this prestigious school. Win-win.

Only, as we pretend to be in a relationship, I find out he’s different from what I expected.

He’s better. So much better.

And when he kissed me last night, I just wanted it to be real.

But as I’m searching for a loophole in that stupid contract I signed, a huge family secret comes to light and all the sparks I started feeling for my fake boyfriend suddenly become forbidden.

I know I should walk away from him. That I should go back to keeping our tutoring sessions strictly professional…

But I don’t want to.
