For the first time in a year, I've been able to meet up with friends and make the most of the sunshine and you know what?... It's been amazing!
I hope you've all been enjoying the weather as well. I know it's been a bit up and down over the UK but hopefully, you've had at least one sunny day to get out of the house - especially as we come out of lockdown. If you're outside of the UK then fingers crossed you've had even better weather than we have! 🤞🏻
In other news, you may be wondering what's going on with my book. Well, I'm in the final stages of actually writing it (as my deadline is the end of next month!) and now I can tell you what it will be about!
So, without further ado, my book is going to be... *(Drumroll, please)*
An Ultimate Guide to Vegan Roasts!*
*It's a working title 😅
What does this mean exactly? Well, for me roasts are pretty special. They're meals that you cook for friends and family, but they're always made with love - whether it's your weekly Sunday roast or your Christmas dinner.
There's going to be a ton of recipes in my book, including seitan and tofu-based roasts as well others that let vegetables take the spotlight! Not to mention all the scrumptious sides I've got planned for you 😉
There'll be another update on my book next month, so keep an eye out 👀
Bring Out the BBQ
As the sun is coming out more regularly and the weather is warming up for summer (at least it is down south!) I'm happy to announce that I've finally invested in a BBQ & Smoker set!
I've always felt as though there's very little BBQ food out there for us vegans - beyond chargrilled veg and ready-made burgers and sausages that is...
But because I've found myself feeling super inspired, I've been experimenting with vegan BBQ food and have been developing new recipes that will help you up your BBQ game this year.
I'm hoping to put together the ultimate BBQ feast and I'll be sure to keep you in the loop with all the delicious food I make. Watch this space!
