Hi , how's the summer treating you?
I'm a few weeks away from boarding that BA flight to Malaga for my retreat and I just cannot wait! As much as this is a work trip, to be really honest with you, when you do what you love, it doesn't feel like work and especially when we're away as a group, we get to be social and really get to know each other that it often feels like a group of friends went away for a holiday!
I'm mostly however, looking forward to getting some time for a little reset. It's been go go go this year and I'm finally getting to be just me - not wife or mum! Don't get me wrong, I love my fellas but with all that's been happening this year, mama needs a few days away from it all too. That might sound strange for a Coach to say but it's true, I do the same coaching work as the attendees and learn from others as well.
It got me thinking though, sometimes we need to reset and may not have the time or finances to get away from it all to do a full reset. There are ways you can do this though, a change of environment is always recommended - mainly so that your creativity can flow and your mind can relax. This week's blog has some tips that you could use to reset if that's what you're needing right now. Pressing the virtual reset button in between a full break can go a long way to help keep you moving forward. Taking time to reflect on what may be causing stagnation in your life helps to identify the challenges and then make plans to change them. You don't even need to have all the answers or the how to, identifying can sometimes be all the evaluation you need as you can then take a step back and choose which action(s) you can do right now and what may need a bit more planning.
What's most important when you're pressing reset is to not overwhelm yourself. It can be easy to make a big long list of wants and then be daunted about starting. Take your time and understand this is just an activity to help you see what needs a tweak in your life so that you feel less like you're in a rut. It can be small so just be wary of causing overwhelm when you do this task.
I'm here for you if you need some help with this, just respond to this email. Wishing you a great week.
Lots of love
