Happy Start of Spring!
It’s been a year since the country locked down due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. It’s been a tough year full of challenges. But it has also been a year of new experiences. With the extra time I was saving from my commute, I decided to finally write the book I always said I would. That book was Craving A King.
365 days later, I have published four full-length novels and two novellas. Through all the hurt, pain, and fear of an invisible enemy. God gifted me something else to focus on. Experiencing Black love across the diaspora was just the escape I needed. I'm grateful many of you needed it too!
This Spring take a time to count your blessings. What has bloomed in your life despite the pandemic? What are you planting for this year’s harvest? Spring is a time of renewal and fresh starts. You can do whatever you want. I promise you can and will succeed at whatever you put your hand and heart too. I’m a witness!
This month, I have a few goodies for all of you:
- I created the Possessing the Prince playlist. My favorite track is Leela James "Fall For You." I think it captures Abena’s vulnerability perfectly.
- I joined together with other Black writers committed to writing about Black heroines for our Brown Sugar Promotion! Take advantage and check out some new #happyblackromance reads
Finally, March is Women’s History Month! Women are awesome and we deserve to be celebrated all year long! Support Indie romance authors. Indie writers are badass entrepreneurs as well as creatives. Celebrate Women’s History Month by buying Black and buying female!

Love and books,
Louise xoxo
