Cyber Bowl kicks off: FSU battles rivals for cybersecurity supremacy

Florida State University’s Information Technology Services department is kicking off its annual challenge to bring awareness and education to cybersecurity threats, part of National Cybersecurity Awareness MonthThe Cyber Bowl runs from Oct. 7-18. FSU researchers discover new materials, techniques with promising potential for microelectronics and quantum technologies

Professors Biwu Ma in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and Peng Xiong in the Department of Physics work with low-dimensional organic metal halide hybrids, a new class of hybrid materials that can power optoelectronic devices like solar cells, light-emitting diodes, or LEDs and photodetectors. Together, they have identified new magnetic and electronic properties in these materials, pointing to impressive potential in spintronics. Read more ...

The U.S. Department of State has awarded Florida State University’s Learning Systems Institute and the Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship a grant to enhance entrepreneurship education in Armenia.
