You’re warmly invited to an information session to find out about a research project “Social Prescribing for All” (SP4All) . This project offers fantastic free training opportunities worth over £400 per person.
Who is it for?
The SP4all training programme offers adults from ethnic minority backgrounds and those arts and nature-based activity providers a chance to collaborate and train together to develop Social Prescribing offers.
- Adults from ethnic minority backgrounds living in Derby/shire, who are interested in creative group programmes promoting health and wellbeing, will become mentees.
- Arts and nature groups/organisations/freelancers, who are keen to learn about co-producing social prescribing programmes with a focus on cultural inclusiveness, will become mentors.
What could I gain from joining?
For mentees:
- You gain skills that could support a career in offering peer support groups.
- Transferable skills that are applicable to roles such as a Social Prescribing Link Worker, and Facilitator on the Midlands Learning Together programme.
