Announcing the
2021-22 GS1 Healthcare Reference Book filled with stories of hope and
inspiration!
In the newly released 2021-22 GS1 Healthcare Reference Book, healthcare providers, suppliers, and governments across the globe share their stories of hope and inspiration.
Learn how GS1 standards are enabling healthcare systems to quickly put in place processes and practices for COVID-19 testing, contact tracing, vaccine information and mass vaccine administration. A supplier of COVID-19 vaccines adopted standards to implement traceability for increased visibility of its vaccines in the supply chain. Hospitals tell their stories about GS1 standards as integral parts of the patient’s journey and care. Suppliers share how they are standardising processes to better serve researchers, healthcare providers and patients. And, government initiatives are making significant strides by using GS1 standards for pharmaceutical authentication, medical device identification and patient safety.
These stories remind us that we have much to be hopeful about. We also have much to do as we rebuild and continue to digitally transform our global healthcare supply chain and hospital environments.
We are on the road of renewal and recovery—and GS1 standards is playing an active role.
