🐀 Card 1: The Brooch
🗝️ Keywords: Freeing The Honest Voice * Freeing The Child
✨If you chose card 1, take this moment to inhale, all the way to the depths of your abdomen, and then exhale, expelling every last bit of air. How many times each day do you truly breathe? It's not just about survival—the breath carries the voice, and the voice carries expression, which then becomes communication. If you could speak your truth to just one person this week, who would it be, what would you say, and how would you feel afterwards? (The truth you need to speak may even be to yourself!) The Brooch represents the stifled voice unbound. Clear the passageways with deep cleansing breaths, and sing out, honestly, freely, fellow Inmate!
🐀 Card 2: The Pencil
🗝️ Keywords: Self Ownership * Taking Control * Writing Your Story
✨If you chose card 2, the Oracle has an exercise for you! Take a moment to think about the story of your life as you see it now. Be as honest as you can: How do you feel about yourself, your reality, and where you believe you are headed? If any negativity pops up in this process, take out your journal, or even a piece of paper, and write it down. When you are finished, look over what you wrote, and consider whether these elements of your story were truly written by you, or were they perhaps things you were told to believe about yourself that became your story? Cross a line through any item that you would like to "erase" from the legend of YOU. Because your story is a legend, and you are the only author.
🐀 Card 3: The Cell
🗝️ Keywords: Sanctuary * Reclaiming Innocence * Becoming Whole
✨If you chose card 3, the Oracle wants you to imagine something from your childhood that made you truly excited. Perhaps it is a particular subject (unicorns for me), a toy (Lite Bright, anyone?), an activity (making perfume out of crushed flower petals—it always rotted but I had the time of my life trying). Take time this week to celebrate this early spark of joy, and bring it back into your life, even in a small way. Because it isn't really small at all. Inside the Cell is a child who delighted in things now forgotten. Honor this child and you will find your world today looks very different than it did yesterday. Sometimes the missing piece has been inside us all along, just waiting to be unlocked.
As always, THANK YOU for allowing me the privilege of being even a small part of your spiritual journey!
Oh, I almost forgot! While the Asylum Oracle is sold out, you (or someone you know who wants one) can sign up to reserve your deck from the next batch when it arrives HERE!
