Dear USET/USET SPF Family,
Earth Day has been celebrated on April 22nd for over 50 years. The significance of this day has become more meaningful as a wider segment of American society has acknowledged the inter-relationships between humans and our natural environment, and our responsibilities to be conscientious stewards. The Earth Day movement stimulated passage of national environmental laws, creation of state and Tribal environmental programs, local activism, and a myriad of actions to restore, protect, and preserve our precious waters, landscapes, and airsheds.
