Welcome to RichCast Newsletter #5 - January 2022

Happy New Year!

We hope you had a great Christmas and enjoyed the New Year break.

Some of you however have been working really hard throughout December on entries for the RichCast Creator's Competition!

The competition deadline has now passed and our judges are looking through entries. We've already seen some spectacular work and can't wait to share our winners with you!

As well as our website and social pages we'll have a full rundown of category winners in edition 60 of Wireframe magazine due 3rd March.

We're also delighted to sponsor the Global Game Jam 2022.

Running from 20th to 30th January, GGJ is the world's largest game creation event.

... and finally we have something really EGGciting in the works. After days of research, hours of storyboarding and several sleepless nights Mark, one of our Community Managers, has CRACKED the ultimate new RichCast title - ''Help I'm an Egg!''. We aren't even yolking!

He'll be documenting the whole process of creating the experience to (ome)lette you see inner workings of the project but also give you an insight into.... well, life as an egg.

Keep an eye on our social pages as this project will need plenty of input from our community!

Development Update

The team has now grown to 13 fulltime staff and many contractors. We’re all super busy ensuring we improve and extend all aspects of RichCast as fast as humanly possible.

RichCast is constantly being improved and optimised as new features are introduced.

We would love for you to contribute towards this by reporting bugs and making suggestions on our Discord channel here, or contact the community team at community@panivox.com.

The first of our series of community projects is now available to play!

Taking the role of a 911 call handler, its up to you to help Penny, a lone caller, escape her house and get away from some..... thing that has got in!

911: What's Your Emergency? is currently in the beta phase but is the first project to incorporate real voices and actors. We're really excited to share it with you! Load up RichCast now to see it for yourself or check out the preview below.
