It's Bundle time! But, read this first

Hi

First, thank you for opening my second mail this week. It means a lot to me :)

Second, if you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen this post last week, on the idea of shiny object syndrome and FOMO.

Third, this mail is REALLY LONG. I have to say that because I want you to read till the end, but trust me, it's worth it.

Fourth, I am going to be brutally frank when it comes to blogging bundles and spending money, so read the mail carefully.

You should know that October kicks off what I call 'Sales' season in the online world.

Every course creator and digital marketer will be either launching a new product or selling their best products at a deep discount.

Total coincidence that my own product will launch later this month. I swear I didn't even know about this until I did the research.

It was only recently that I learnt the psychology behind this strategy.

In the West, this is when the cold season sets in. That means more people are indoors and on their laptops. More people spend money in the last quarter. (No surprise that sales peak during November end that is Black Friday and of course, around Christmas).

Now, I won't lie to you.

I've spent money on over 200 courses in the last 24 months.

Did I need them all? BIG FAT NO.

Did I use them all? Also NO.

Did I find valuable courses? For this, I will say YES!

Now, don't get me wrong. I personally only buy one bundle each year and that is the one by Ultimate Bundles.

But I also buy one-off courses from creators I trust, through the year.

So the bigger question is, should you buy the Toolkit this year?

MY ANALYSIS:

As an affiliate, I got early access to the toolkit and at a discounted rate too. I've actually downloaded all the e-books and workbooks already and also gained access to all the courses listed.

Two reasons: I wanted to check out what was really worthwhile and I wanted to highlight the best ones for your benefit.

  1. The Authentic Blog Project by Hanna Rinaldi- Hands down, this is my FAVOURITE part of the whole toolkit. I bought the toolkit, downloaded this book and read it in under 2 hours. I also immediately e-mailed the author and told her how much I loved it. She was so touched :)

Essentially, it asks you to re-examine why you want to blog and how to make money blogging even with a small, niche engaged audience (much like all of you on this list). (Original price $25)

  2.  Graphic Design for Bloggers: Design Principles for Online Marketing by Kara Fidd

You already know how much I love Kara Fidd :) Recall those gorgeous Pinterest templates I talked about in last week's email? Well, this course is perfect for those looking to design graphics for their social media or Pinterest.

What I like about Kara is how she truly simplifies design for absolute beginners. From the rule of thirds to the idea of visual hierarchy, it's all meticulously explained. (Original price $47)

  3. List by Number by Suzi Whitford

This was particularly useful for me, as I am working on building my email list. Personally, I love writing two things (okay, 3): My blog posts, my email newsletter and my Instagram captions. These bring me the best engagement. (Hey, I am a writer first :)

She explains it using both Mailerlite and Convertkit and it goes into extreme depth. (Original price $57)

  4. The Secret Sauce to Skyrocketing Your Blog Traffic by Angela Mary Vaz

This is a 187 page e-book on how to grow your blog traffic and I was truly blown away by the depth of it all.

Remember that blog rebranding thing I  mentioned in Monday's e-mail? I used her tips to do it and it has made SUCH a difference. I might be partial to the fact that she's also a Bangalore girl, like me. ;) (Original price $29)

There are more courses that I loved but they are more niche and applicable to advanced bloggers. For instance the one on Tripwires(Priced at $67( (which I loved!) or the Pin Practical Influence course by Monica Froese (priced at $197) are VERY good.

Here's the thing: Individually, if I were to buy these 6 courses, I'd pay a total sum of $412 JUST for those (Approximately INR 29,000)

    Instead, I get these 6 + 86 other courses for $97 TOTAL
     *This is approximately INR 7000.

We now come to the IMPORTANT QUESTION:

    Should you buy the Toolkit?

    a) Do you have $97 set aside for this purpose? Then, yes.

    b) Do you think you'd have time to study 5 or 6 courses in the next 6 months? Then, yes.

    c) Do you see yourself investing time and money as a blogger? Then, yes.

    d) From the list of courses available does the original cost of the courses you want (combined) exceed $97? If yes, then the toolkit is a WAY better investment of your money.

    e) What monetary ROI will I get on this investment? Okay, since I can only speak from personal experience, let me share this.

In the last two months alone, I made 78,000 INR back from the services and content related to the blog.

That's a return of 1,014% on an investment of INR 7000

BUT and this is important, what worked for me MAY NOT WORK for you!

So, please take a good look at a few things before you buy the toolkit:

Can you make time in your schedule to blog regularly?
Do you think you can spend 30 minutes each day for the next 6 months studying a course and applying what you learnt?

Why you should NOT buy the toolkit
    :

If you answered 'No' to even one of the above questions, then don't buy it. It's that simple.

Even better, this is what I suggest.

Look through the entire list of courses. Bookmark the ones you think will be useful for you.

Then, mail me and ask for my HONEST opinion about that particular course. I will tell you if it is worth your time and money. Promise!

    PROS of Buying the toolkit:

You get access to some wonderful courses at a fraction of the cost.

You can focus only on ONE category of courses for the next year and truly get the most out of it.

    CONS of buying the toolkit:

It's NOT a small sum. $97 is not something I'd shell out without thinking.

You get too many courses and you feel compelled to finish them all and get what I refer to as 'starter paralysis'. Instead, if you buy only ONE course for the next 3 months and work on that, it's a much better investment of your time and money.

You get added to email lists of ALL the sellers in the course bundle and get bombarded with emails for the rest of the year.  (You can choose to opt out, which is what I did)You aren't really able to make connections with the course creator because you joined them via the bundle instead of through their blog or their direct sales page.

    MY BONUSES:

Now, if you do buy the toolkit through my link, you'd get the following bonuses:

    1. A complete spreadsheet of all the courses organised by category, pre-made for you
    2. A walk through video on the best way to go through the toolkit and what to focus on
    3. A SPECIAL 50% discount code on my first ever paid product to be launched later this month. It's VERY reasonably priced already and the 50% off is the best I can offer at the moment.

      HOW TO GET MY BONUSES:

Once you buy the toolkit, just forward a copy of the invoice to me and I will send over details on how to redeem each of your bonuses.

                                        ***EARLY BIRD BONUS***

For anyone who buys the course before end of day, October 3rd, they also get $50 worth of cheat sheets thrown in as part of the purchase, completely for free.

So, now it's your call. Take your time and assess if this is worth your money.
