Hi, Friend

Best Enemies Forever is now out, and I've been so touched by all the reactions to Connie and Gabriel's story. Here are a few things I've heard:

- "Gabriel is my favorite hero to date!"
- "This is definitely Olivia's spiciest book."
- "I even cried in the last ten percent."  

The dedication is really special to me. I've always had a soft spot for ambitious, career-driven, slightly unlikeable heroines in romances. My second favorite heroine? The people-pleaser who learns to stand up for herself. So of course I combined them in this dedication... because I can see myself in them, and I love rooting them on as they find love AND success.

It's incredible when a book I've lived with and worked on for so long is finally out in the world. I love so many things in this book, but I picked ten of them and listed them out down below.

I celebrated with a glass of bubbly and a lovely dinner out at my favorite restaurant. It's unreal to have another book join the gang! My nineteenth. It feels absolutely unreal. It also means book two in this series will be my twentieth... I'll have to find a way to celebrate! 

Here are ten of the most random facts I can think to share about this book, and why it's one of my favorites I've ever written. 

1. The main characters have known each other their entire lives. 
2. Their families are SO juicy. Think Succession. The Connovans are absolutely inspired by that show. 
3. Curvy heroine representation, and she loves her body, too. That was important to me ❤️
4. It's my most Gossip Girl inspired book. 
5. The first and last line of the book is the same. 
6. They meet in Vegas in chapter 1. I was in Vegas last November and felt inspired! 
7. They keep playing "I dare you" games and are incredibly competitive with one another.
8. It's very, very spicy. I had fun writing it! 
9. The hero, Gabriel Thompson, has the best banter.
10. Two characters who dislike one another (on the surface) forced to live together... absolutely delicious.
