Go Local and Joining God in the Neighborhood is an opportunity for individuals and churches to step outside of the four walls of their church building and discover where God is at work in their neighborhoods. Here's what's on the schedule for Go Local this fall:
Support, Encourage, and Tune Up
Have you participated in Go Local or Joining God in the Neighborhood? In this online gathering, you will gather with other alumni to support, encourage, and tune up as you continue to follow the Holy Spirit's leading into your neighborhoods.
September 23 7-8:15pm CST
Go Local "Taste and See" Event
Interested in Go Local but not quite sure if it's a good fit for your church? In this online "taste and see" event, you'll be introduced to the Go Local process and some of the practices we can use as believers to be gospel witnesses in our communities. These practices may seem new to us today, but they're historically biblical! This online event is a good way to discern if your congregation is ready for the Go Local journey.
October 5 1:15-2:45pm CST OR 7-8:30pm CST
Joining God in the Neighborhood Online Cohort
While Go Local is designed for church congregations, Joining God in the Neighborhood is for individuals who want to learn about Go Local practices. In this online cohort, you'll gather with other believers to learn how you can discover and join in where God is at work right outside your front door. We'll be gathering from 7-8:30pm CST on these dates:
October 7 October 21 November 4 November 18
If you have questions or want to sign up for any of these events, email Ruth Kelder: rkelder@crcna.org
