We're back in lockdown here in Aotearoa New Zealand, after a long run of normality with no Covid in the country. I'm pleased to be navigating lockdown in a house this time, instead of in an unheated, uninsulated shed, like last year. I'm indulging in baking this time. Yesterday I made Mum's Fluffy Buns--that's what my kids named them (back when they didn't understand how inappropriate that name might sound). These buns are perfect for burgers, and my kids swear they make the best toast.
