The 2nd edition of FURIES - contemporary dance festival was to be held in Marsoui from July 23 to 26. Although the COVID-19 pandemic led to the postponement of all festival activities to the summer of 2021, we are pleased to present MIDLAND, Kim-Sanh Châu's new short film, which was to be screened under the stars at the opening event! The film, shot partly during her residency at Salon58 in Marsoui, is available for online viewing from now until August 3.

In order to look back on her residency experience at Salon58 in October 2019 and discuss her film MIDLAND, Mandoline Hybride offers a virtual discussion with the artist Kim-Sanh Châu on this Thursday, July 23 at 2pm. In the form of a 30-minute interview led by Priscilla Guy, this meeting will be followed by a virtual exchange with the public.

Mandoline Hybride and BIGICO join forces to offer a research residency in contemporary jig in Marsoui. With this new residency, which will take place at Salon58 in the fall of 2021, the partners will favour a space dedicated to creation and discovery of new choreographic territories for jig, free from the pressures of a result oriented completion. Jig dancers, you have until August 15 to apply!
