Hi, !
Everything that you wish to achieve stems from a place of self-belief.
When people say things like:
"I could never look like that."
"I could never achieve what they have been able to."
"I don't have the genetics for this kind of body."
They have inherently set themselves up for failure.
What you can believe, you can translate into reality.
Negative self-talk can engrave permanent patterns into your thinking.
This creates limiting self-beliefs that get you stuck in a constant rut.
But you can get out of this.
You can set yourself on a path towards true bodily confidence by changing the way you think.
Here are a few actionable steps:
1. Catch yourself thinking self-limiting thoughts. Don't ignore them. Write them down and validate if they are actually true.
"I don't think I will ever lose all this fat."
What proof do you have for this? Do you have a diagnosed genetic disorder that prevents you from losing fat? If not, then this thought is false.
2. Write down what the reality of the situation actually is. To achieve true physical confidence, you need ruthless self-awareness.
How out of shape are you currently? What is your lifestyle like? Are you doing everything you can to improve your physique and health?
Self-assess objectively. Don't sugarcoat things.
3. Set goals and create a plan to achieve those goals. There is never the perfect time to start. You will never be not busy.
People invest their time, energy and money into things they value.
Don't say: "I don't have time for this."
Say: "This is not a priority for me.". And see how that feels.
The only thing between you and your goal physique is the self-limiting story that you keep telling yourself.
You can change this narrative if you choose to and see the progress you desire.
