Happy New Year. Yes, I know. I'm a bit early with the wishes for a great 2022 but I thought I'd get in early. And I'd also like to plant the seed in everyone's mind that 2022 could be a great year for learning Spanish. 

More and more education services are moving online so you can learn pretty much anything these days from the comfort of your own home. 

But not just that, options for remote working have exploded since 2020 and many of us have the opportunity to work from other countries. Why not work from Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Costa Rica, Mexico, El Salvador, or Nicaragua?

I hate to bring up the C word but many people are wondering how to discuss covid-related topics with Spanish speakers. I've been in a few situations in non-English/non-Spanish speaking countries where I needed to make a point or discuss something health-related but I didn't have the vocabulary.

The Medical Spanish Podcast by Molly Martin is a great resource for learning the vocabulary and grammar you might need if you're travelling in a Spanish-speaking country or talking with something whose first language is Spanish.
