Alive 90.5 FM, presented by Ross M Fear every Tuesday night. Check Facebook for details.
This week's guest is David ‘Slide’ Milligan, a slide guitar aficionado that plays psychedelic rock blues and Aussie pub rock. “Slide” has produced a psychedelic slide guitar masterpiece called "Blood Red River" recorded at Damien Gerrard Studios and produced by Andy Clockwise. A pastiche of outlaw country, psychedelic post-punk & a different approach to the slide guitar. His music sounds familiar yet fresh in the current musical landscape with his country-indie-rock-blues-roots crossover style.

Siakara: an Afro-Cuban Songs & Rhythms Workshop - 1pm
'The Third Voice' (Christina, Gemma, Clarita) invite you to come & take part in the wonderful Afro-Cuban tradition of songs, rhythms & chants from the unique melting pot of Indigenous, African & European traditions that is Cuban culture.
In this series of family-friendly and interactive workshops, we will lead you in an exploration of Cuban hypnotic grooves through clapping rhythms and body percussion. You’ll sing chants and praise poems in the Lucumí language: a Spanish and Yoruba potpourri from Cuba. These songs are dedicated to the natural elements—the ocean, the wind, the rivers—and celebrate love.
