As Thanksgiving weeks draws to a close and we begin to prepare for the festivities of Advent and Christmas, we find ourselves immersed in a spirit of deep gratitude and thanks.
Each year we are reminded just how thankful we are for each person who continues to support our mission of changing, shaping, and redefining the Church. Your unwavering support and generosity have been the cornerstone of our efforts to promote justice, inclusivity, and compassion.
We also want to acknowledge and express profound gratitude for the women who played a vital role in Rome at the Synod this past October. Their wisdom, courage, and dedication will continue to enrich and renew our Church and community. Now that women are voting in our Church, there is no going back.
This Thanksgiving, we might express our gratitude for the courageous women who have tirelessly advocated for change within the Church for generations. Your voices have inspired and empowered us to continue pressing forward, seeking a more inclusive and egalitarian path.
Together, we are reshaping the narrative, challenging outdated norms, and building a Church where the gifts of all, regardless of gender and sexuality, are celebrated and utilized. Your support is a driving force in this transformative journey, and for that, we are truly thankful.
May this season of Thanksgiving be a time of reflection, unity, and appreciation for the progress we have made and the possibilities that lie ahead. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyous and blessed Thanksgiving and wonderful Advent.
