CSW is celebrating its 26th Year in serving the wargame community. We are getting a late start to our annual donation drive this year – so much so that we are closing out the year with our annual donation drive. Better late than never is our motto, and your support is greatly appreciated!
We thank all members for joining CSW and we hope you find the services a source of enjoyment and support for the hobby. We are privileged to see how our online community can touch so many.
Since our last fundraiser drive in 2021, we have welcomed more than 4,000 new members.
2022 can be coined the Year of Video Content! The quality and quantity of hobby videos over the past 12 months has been amazing. We are pleased with how our online video platform has taken off by providing up-to-the-minute content from more than 60 content contributors. We appreciate all the great support and praise for our video service, which averages more than ten new videos each and every day! If you haven't had the chance, please check out our video feed today!
We closed out this year by upgrading our forum hosting service with more horse power. We got hit hard in November and realized we needed to invest further to ensure our popular CSW Forum is being more responsive for our member needs.
Here is a snapshot of key CSW accomplishments over the past 12-15 months.
- CSW News stories closed out the year with 1,100 news postings in 2022.
- CSW Expo did fantastic in both Dallas and Tempe, with stronger attendance than anticipated! We have roared back from COVID with highly enthusiastic gamers in attendance.
- Our new CSW Community grows daily, with more than 3,850 members and numerous posts per day!
- Our CSW Forum continues to experience continuous growth in new members and traffic (so much so that we had to upgrade and invest further in our hosting service last month). We will also be needing to invest in more disk space since we are at 90% capacity at this time.
- We are preparing to open registration shortly for CSW Expo Tempe, scheduled for Aug 25 - Sep 2, 2023. CSW Dallas will be announced once we have a set date.
- Q1 2023 will mark the return of our Email News digest service to help everyone keep up with the latest news.
