The Clockhouse Milford Harvest Festival Over the last few years they have been able to make up a small Harvest Festival gift for some of our regular attendees. They would be very grateful for any donations of non perishable items of food such as tins of soup or fruit, sardines, tinned meat, chocolate bars, biscuits, tea, coffee, perhaps a small Christmas pudding. Alternatively a small financial donation would enable them to buy such items. The Clockhouse is being manned by some of our wonderful volunteers on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9.30am to 11.30am and 9.30am to 3pm on Wednesdays if you wish to make a donation.
Gothic Month at Chawton House To celebrate the spookiest holiday of the year, Chawton House is launching 'Gothic Month'. This special programme is running throughout October, with events to frighten and thrill audiences of all ages. Beginning with exclusive dining in the atmospheric Smoking Room, Gothic Month continues with Wilderness walks in the moonlight, and a brand new garden trail for kids, with willow installations from local artist Judith Needham.
