Angèle releases a cinematic music video for her “Bruxelles je t’aime” single
Angèle (born Angèle Van Laeken) is a sensational Belgian pop star. Not too long ago, she released a cinematic music video for her “Bruxelles je t’aime” single. The appealing video finds Angèle on a train traveling from her current home, Paris, and back in time to her birthplace.
“‘Bruxelles je t’aime’ came to me during the first lockdown. I had already composed the melody and started the production, but it’s only when I realized I was going to stay away from my city for a while that this declaration of love was born. I love the idea of talking to my city as if it was a lover, like in a relationship. We love, leave, miss each other, but we never forget about each other. And Brussels is a lover in whom I can see my past and my future. I know her flaws and I accepted them. I spent a few years away from her and I always missed her so much. Then, when I get back to her, I’m reassured. I think that’s what it feels like when you come home. That’s why this song is a celebration. I dreamt of dancing with my friends in Brussels, and today it’s finally possible.” – Angèle explained
Born into a family of artists, Angèle has music in the blood. After studying jazz, she began releasing covers of pop classics via Instagram and built up an incredible following. Free-spirited and independent, she goes against the grain, sticking fingers up her nose, and covering her hair in pasta. Her first three hits (La Loi de Murphy, Je veux tes Yeux, and La Thune) serve as a refreshing introduction to her musical identity.

Amber Kamminga releases a lovely Country tune, entitled, “Name on It”
Amber Kamminga is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Not too long ago, she released a lovely Country tune, entitled, “Name on It,” which tells a heartfelt tale about a young woman who finds herself conversing in person with her ex-significant other. Apparently, they are still good friends, even though things didn’t end well between them. Later, she admits that they are better off going their own separate ways.
“This song is about the role of chance in fate. Sometimes you know a relationship doesn’t stand much of a chance, but you go for it anyway. And when it falls apart for reasons other than love, you accept it and move on. Though the lyrics are somewhat sad, the song is powerful.” – Amber Kamminga explained
Amber Kamminga is not scared to tell an honest story. Even though she’s a Country singer at heart, she doesn’t shy away from modern pop influences. Her singles “Name of Love” and “3AM” led to prizes in the International Songwriting Competition, mini-tours in the UK and Nashville, and airplay on both Dutch and UK radio. Music has brought Amber to many beautiful stages in the Netherlands including Paradiso, De Vorstin, Patronaat, and Sugarfactory. Also, she has been featured on national radio shows such as 3FM and Radio1.

Emmelie de Forest releases a dazzling disco-pop tune, entitled, “Typical Love Song”
Emmelie de Forest is an award-winning singer-songwriter from Randers, Denmark. Not too long ago, she released a dazzling disco-pop tune, entitled, “Typical Love Song,” a refreshing interpellation of Alphaville’s “Big In Japan” single via Day In Day Out (a division of Cosmos Music).
“This song came to me in a very unexpected way, as with most things in life. An idea about making an interpolation of Alphaville’s ‘80s hit song, ‘Big In Japan,’ came to life by a publisher I’ve worked with in the past. I was so lucky to write this song with three incredibly talented songwriters and Alphaville absolutely loved it! So with their blessing, we finished and recorded it. We used the chorus melody from ‘Big In Japan,’ but all the lyrics are new as well as all brand new melodies for the intro, verses, pre, and outro. I love this way of using something old and mixing it with something new. I think it’s a tendency we’ve seen a lot these last few years and I believe it will continue. There are only 12 notes you can use to write a song and there’s so much amazing music out there that the younger generations might not know about. So instead of doing the traditional thing of making a cover, I think it’s great to use something that’s already there and write and create something new on top of it.” – Emmelie de Forest explained
‘Typical Love Song’ contains a relationship-based narrative, ear-pleasing vocals, and infectious chorus melodies. The radio-friendly tune possesses groovy instrumentation flavored with electro-dance and disco-pop elements. Furthermore, “Typical Love Song” serves as an appetizing taste of what’s to come from Emmelie de Forest in the near future as she continues to release extraordinary new music.

len is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Spain. Not too long ago, she released a lovely debut single, entitled, “Not Around.” Her inspiration for the song came after her last relationship sailed. She came to realize that all that you need is yourself.
‘Not Around’ holds strong feminist themes but doesn’t shout it. The song is an anthem for any listener who needs or can recognize that they need to love themselves before anyone else.
“This song is based on the transition I went through after reading the book, “Why Men Love B*tches.” It’s a journey of learning how to love myself without having to find outsourced attention from guys to be happy.” – len explained
