SURRENDER MEDITATION
I surrender myself. I relax my forehead as I surrender my mind I can be hurt by nothing but my thoughts. Peace to my mind. Let all my thoughts be still. My mind holds only what I think with God. I surrender my eyes, for I do not understand anything I see All my eye tension comes from straining to see what is not there, or trying not to see what is there. I am determined to see things differently. Christ’s is the vision I will use today. Creation’s gentleness is all I see. I release and surrender the muscles of my jaw, tongue, lips and throat. All tension there comes from not saying what I feel, or saying what I do not feel. Let every voice but God’s be still in me. I relax and let go and surrender my shoulder muscles, for God’s yoke is easy and His burden is light. All muscular tension is only the ego’s fear or resistance, but fear is not justified in any form. I surrender my arms and hands, for I need do nothing. I release them to do God’s Will. God’s Will and mine are one. My back relaxes as I feel completely supported. I rest in God. My heart can release all its armor, for in my defenselessness my safety lies. The hush of Heaven holds my heart today. My heart is beating in the peace of God. I surrender my lungs. I breathe in inspiration, I breathe in Spirit. I exhale all tension, I let the universe breathe me. Each breath a surrender. This is my holy instant of release. I surrender my stomach and all my digestive organs. I need not grasp for food, or stuff myself, for all my needs are always met. I am sustained by the love of God. I surrender my legs and feet. I will step back and let Him lead the way. Love is the Way I walk in gratitude. My eyes, my tongue, my hands, my feet today have but one purpose. To be given Christ to use to bless the world with miracles.
