There are basically two types of washes:

• MAINTENANCE WASH:  When the car is not very dirty, you can get by with just the waterless/rinseless washing system using one of the Waterless/Rinseless Wash products below.
  
• DEEP WASH: When the car is super filthy, use the iK Foaming Pump Sprayer and Optimum Foaming Car Wash (or any low-PH car wash soap or dishwashing liquid) with a Chenille Wash Mitt and rinse with water. After washing the car, use either an Ultraplush Microfiber Towel or the One-Pass Water Blade, followed by the Cordless Leaf Blower to dry the cracks, windows, and wheels. As a finishing touch, mist on the Waterless Wash or P&S Bead Maker and do a final wipe down with a clean and dry Ultra-Plush Microfiber Towel.

Here are my best car washing tips:

• Do not wash when the car's surface is warm to the touch; ALWAYS let it cool down before washing. It's best to do all hand or blow-drying indoors or in the shade. 
  
• Always dry the car completely. Water spots are like kryptonite to ceramic coatings and PPF. The spots can be removed, but proper drying prevents this altogether. The older the water spot is, the harder it is to remove.
  
• If you want an extra-shiny glossy look, use the Bead Maker Paint Protectant or other high-quality SiO2 (ceramic refresh spray). NEVER APPLY THIS PRODUCT IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT OR TO A DIRTY CAR.
  
• The One-Pass Water Blade is great for drying glass and flat body panels. Make sure you get the one with the silicon handle.
• Ultra plush microfiber towels can be washed roughly 25-30 times; always use cool to warm water, never overdry, and never use fabric softener. You will know when it is time to retire your towels.
